The Role: We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our client's close-knit team and play a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge solutions. You will work on applied research to design and implement machine learning models that will advance signal analysis capabilities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, work independently, and bring their expertise to the development of machine learning models from the ground up, taking into account the unique constraints of radio frequency (RF) data.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement machine learning models focused on RF signal processing and analysis.
- Research to improve system performance, tackle novel problems, and optimize algorithms for real-time, critical environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy AI-driven solutions for defense and safety applications.
- Work on various models and isolated system components to enhance overall product performance.
- Take ownership of defining problems, conducting research, and delivering solutions that meet the company's needs.
Your skills and experience: - Proven years of machine learning experience, with a strong background in applied research and model implementation.
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities, and the flexibility to work on various aspects of the product.
- Experience with time-series data, sensor data, or deep learning techniques is a plus.
- Prior work with RF, signal processing, or similar fields is a nice-to-have, but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, deployment, and optimization for cost efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and creativity in applying machine learning to real-world challenges.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to drive solutions to completion.
Compensation: - Base salary range: $170,000 - $210,000, based on experience.
