Children’s Nebraska, with the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, is currently recruiting a BE/BC Pediatric Radiologist. This person will be fellowship trained in Pediatric Radiology. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for providing high quality patient care and teaching. This individual will promote the clinical, educational, research and advocacy goals of the institution. Candidates should have solid skills and knowledge of diagnostic pediatric radiology modalities, excellent clinical and interpersonal skills and the desire to collaborate with clinicians to deliver the best in imaging care. We seek individuals with strong emotional and social intelligence and a demonstrated ability to connect with others in a meaningful way at all levels of the hospital and university. UNMC faculty appointment will be commensurate with experience, and an active research interest is welcomed. Part time or full time possibilities exist with the potential of a remote, in person or hybrid work schedule on this dynamic team.

 

Children’s Nebraska is a 225-bed nonprofit organization caring for children since 1948. Founded by the community and for the community, Children’s is the only full-service, pediatric specialty health center in Nebraska, providing expertise in more than 50 pediatric specialty services to children across a five-state region and beyond. As the region’s pediatric healthcare leader, we’re dedicated to exceptional care, advocacy, research and education. Our state-of-the-art Hubbard Center for Children is home to Nebraska’s only Level IV regional Newborn Intensive Care Unit, Fetal Care Center, the state’s only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, a first-in-the-region Cardiac Care Unit, and more.

 

The Child Health Research Institute, an innovative partnership between UNMC and Children’s Nebraska, promotes research in pediatric health, consolidates research in pediatric disease from both hospitals into one institute, and advances knowledge about childhood health and diseases. It was established in 2017 and aims to assist investigators with start-up funding and infrastructure for clinical, basic science or translational research.
