Position Overview:This Senior Accountant involves developing and maintaining budgets, managing revenue processes and accounts receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Senior Accountant will prepare detailed financial reports, conduct variance analysis, and recommend solutions for process optimization. Additionally, they will coordinate with external financial entities and manage relationships with banks and auditors to ensure compliance and alignment with legal requirements.Key Accountabilities: - Revenue Management: Manage revenue processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting and oversee billing and invoicing procedures to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Account Receivable Management: Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections, accurate record-keeping, implementing credit policies, and following up on overdue accounts to minimize bad debts.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, to senior management and stakeholders.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results with budgets and forecasts.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
- Minimum of two (2) or more years of experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- NetSuite experience is strongly preferred.
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently.
