Job Description

BHE GT&S has an exciting career opportunity for a Right of Way Administrator located in Walterboro, SC.

Responsibilities

?The successful candidate will perform Right of Way (ROW) administration duties including overseeing excavations and construction activities on ROWs, responding to 811 calls, providing education to the public on pipeline/ROW protection, and performing various checks/surveys/investigations (inspections, odorant checks, density surveys, leak surveys, etc.). Monitor and identify maintenance needs for ROWs. Act as liaison for Company and landowners, secure access as needed and mitigate concerns. Investigate smell of gas calls, potential gas leaks and concerns identified by aerial patrols, determine appropriate response/mitigation.

The successful candidate will live within 30 minutes of Walterboro, SC.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements (Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered as one year towards the qualifications):

• 1 year combined directly related experiences. 
• Ability to prepare reports, letters, memos and to maintain documentation.
• Ability to plan and organize and work independently.
• Ability to interpret maps, plats, blueprints, plans and surveys.
• Ability to operate personal computer.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to identify problems, collect and analyze data and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to establish and maintain rapport and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Preferred Experience: 

Right of Way Pipeline Industry Experience 

Education
High School
