The Financial Operations Manager directs a team responsible for the finance function of one or more Company applications or processes. They will be responsible for maintaining associated internal controls within each function.

This position will be in Omaha NE, and Hybrid eligible at manager discretion.�  This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.� 

What will you do?

  • Responsible for maintaining associated internal controls within each function. Manages the communication with IT Infrastructure, Database Management. Software Development, and third party vendors to ensure all systems continue to work properly and suggest if any enhancement or changes are needed or new procedures created.
  • Main stakeholder and/or Product Owner for the Finance team responsible for identifying, organizing, prioritizing, and assessing work for a software delivery team. Responsible for the regular communication with internal project stakeholders, project sponsors, and other technology teams to ensure smooth project on-boarding.
  • Responsible for the coordination and establishment of oversite on new bank account features requested for existing bank accounts- such as Image Positive Pay, ACH Debit Filters, and ARP reconciliations.
  • Responsible for developing, refining, proposing and strategies to efficiently collect, manipulate, and analyze data to meet on-going, emerging, or follow-up requirements emanating from management's directives or internal or external reporting requirements.
  • Manage and develop staff across various levels by evaluating performance, identifying and interviewing job candidates and initiating and executing personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, transfers, discharges, disciplinary measures, salary adjustments, and staffing levels.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 or more years related work experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or MBA upon hire preferred.
  • Expertise in GAAP
  • Knowledge and experience with statutory accounting principles.
