Clarkson College is currently seeking a College Human Resources Coordinator. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the efficient operation of various HR functions within Clarkson College. This role involves a range of administrative support and HR-related tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, record-keeping, and employee relations. The Human Resources Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries and providing guidance on policies and procedures. This role also supports compliance with higher education accrediting bodies, as well as federal and state regulations. This position is instrumental in supporting implementation of Human Resources programs and contributes to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Required Qualifications:
* Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal/non-verbal) with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization required.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
* Ability to handle highly confidential information in a professional manner and demonstrate an elevated level of judgement and discretion required.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration, preferred.
* Two or more years of related human resources experience working with applicant tracking systems, and compliance-related policies and procedures preferred.
* Ability to work independently, prioritizing and organizing workload to meet deadlines, attention to detail needed, as well as the ability to multi-task and work well in an environment subject to changing priorities and demands preferred.
* Must act in a professional and courteous manner and demonstrate an ability to work with a diverse group of individuals preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to be a collaborative contributor with a positive attitude preferred.
* Thorough understanding of HR functions and employment best practices also preferred.
